Zwischen Arbeitszwang und Leistungsdruck bleiben wenig Zeitlücken für Hobbies, Kultur, Studium und Spaß. Wer sich doch mal Zeit gönnt, sich mehr Lücken freischaufelt, wird mit Lücken im Lebenslauf und im Kalender, der ja ständig voll sein soll, bestraft.
Lücken – das können Abwesenheit, Störung, Bruchstelle und Möglichkeit sein.
Wir wollen in unserer nächsten Ausgabe über genau diese Lücken schreiben. Welche Lücken entstehen in einem System, das auf Arbeit, Verwertung und Leistung basiert? Und welche werden sichtbar, wenn man sich weigert, permanent produktiv zu sein?
Genauso spannend sind aber auch Lückenfüller: Was macht ihr in und mit euren Lücken und wie fühlen sie sich für euch an? Wie schaut Spiel und Spaß für euch aus? Wie könnten sich Lücken jenseits von Zeit- und Ressourcenknappheit gestalten lassen? Willkommen sind auch Lese-, Musik- und (Brett-)Spielrezensionen.
Wir interessieren uns für eure Gedanken, Analysen und Erfahrungen, aber auch für eure kreativen Lückenfüller:Sendet uns eure Ideen und Vorschläge für Texte, Foto(-strecken), Illustrationen oder Comics bis spätestens 27. April an progress@oeh.ac.at!! Fotos, Illustrationen und Artikel werden entsprechend finanziell entlohnt!

Between the pressure to work and the pressure to perform, there is little time left for hobbies, culture, studying and fun. Those who do allow themselves time, who carve out more time gaps, are punished with gaps in their CV and in their calendar, which always need to be full.
Gaps – they can be absences, disruptions, breaks and opportunities.
We want to write about precisely these gaps in our next issue. What gaps arise in a system that is based on work, utility and performance? And which ones become visible when we refuse to be permanently productive?
But gap fillers are just as exciting: what do you do in and with your gaps and how do they feel to you? How does play and fun look like for you? How could gaps be designed beyond time and resource constraints? Book, music and (board) game reviews are also welcome.
