Unsere nächste Ausgabe widmet sich Rassismus in Österreich — den sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Formen, historischen Wurzeln und Auswirkungen im Alltag. Wir wollen zeigen, wie koloniale Verflechtungen, imperiale Kontinuitäten und institutionelle Strukturen bis heute nachwirken: von alltäglichen Erfahrungen von BiPoC und Menschen mit Migrationsgeschichte bis hin zu Erzählungen, die Österreichs Selbstbild prägen — etwa durch Raubkunst, die Romantisierung der Habsburger oder politische Narrative rund um Migration und Zugehörigkeit.
Für diese Ausgabe suchen wir Fotos und Illustrationen, die diese Themen visuell erfahrbar machen:
• Alltagsrassismus und strukturelle
Ausschlüsse
• Koloniale Spuren & historische Kontinuitäten
• Diasporische Perspektiven, Schwarze Geschichte & migrantische Erinnerungen
• Sichtbarmachung marginalisierter Narrative
• Künstlerische Zugänge zu österreichischer Kultur und „Leitkultur“ aus neuen Blickwinkeln
Wir freuen uns über eure Einsendungen, besonders von BiPoC sowie Menschen mit Migrationsbiografie.
Schickt uns eure Konzeptskizzen oder Ideen bis spätestens 15. Dezember 2025 an

Wenn eure Arbeit in die Ausgabe passt, melden wir uns zeitnah bei euch. Ausgewählte Fotografien, Illustrationen oder Grafiken werden mit einem Honorar zwischen 46€-115€ (brutto) vergütet.

ENGLISH VERSION
Our next issue is dedicated to racism in Austria – its visible and invisible forms, historical roots, and effects on everyday life. We want to show how colonial interconnections, imperial continuities, and institutional structures continue to have an impact today: from the everyday experiences of BiPoC and people with a migration background to narratives that shape Austria’s self-image – for example, through looted art, the romanticisation of the Habsburgs, or political narratives surrounding migration and belonging.
For this issue, we are looking for photos and illustrations that make these topics visually tangible:
• Everyday racism and structural exclusion
• Colonial traces & historical continuities
• Diasporic perspectives, Black history & migrant memories
• Making marginalised narratives visible
• Artistic approaches to Austrian culture and “Leitkultur” from new perspectives
We look forward to receiving your submissions, especially from BiPoC and people with a migration background. Please send us your concept sketches or ideas by Monday, December 15th at the latest to ta.ca.heo@ssergorp.
If your work fits the issue, we will contact you. Selected photographs, illustrations, or graphics will be remunerated with a fee between €46-€115 (gross).
